Ishaq Dar Profile- Pakistan Finance Minister
Ishaq Dar, Nawaz Sharif Strong Supporter, Economic reformer during Sharif’s second term. Ishaq dar is a former finance and commerce minister of Nawaz sharif Cabinet. he served the country from 1997-99.
Dar’s economic policies achievements in the Sharif government was export-led growth as a cornerstone of economic strategy. Being made the finance minister in November 1998, he negotiated an IMF rescue package to meet an economic crisis triggered by sanctions over nuclear tests in May that year. The head of a state-run bank later proclaimed that:
“Whether you call it voodoo economics or Darnomics, he has moved things,”
referring Darnomics as the unique working of Ishaq Dar when he refused to accept a devaluation or a rise in utility charges or tax rates.
After 2208 Elections and in resulting coalition government Ishaq Dar has again assigned the post of Finance minister. Ishaq Dar took Oath of his office on March 29, 2008.

No doubt Mr Dar is the man of talent, I have no doubt on his sincerity for pakistan, during his very short term as finace Minister in PPP government he tried to throw out the money launderers from the Stock markets of Pakistan.
What i am of the view Nawaz sharif should ask the PPP leadership that if they want they can retain the services of Mr Dar, as i think there in no one financial and economic expert in PPP who can manage the purse of the nation.
We ( Pakistani Nation) need people like Dar, Ehtizaz, Imran, Nawaz, Ehsin iqbal, Dr Atta who have the craze to change the distiny of the nation..
