Test of principles

Feb,18 saw a major defeat for Musharraf and his allied parties which rule  the country for previous 5 years. But  this election sweep all evil designs of Musharraf of regaining majority again.
PPP lead by Asif ali  zardari and PML-N  lead by Nawaz sharif  has gained outstanding  majority in national assembly and also in two biggest provinces. But these two parties have to form government with some underlying principles.PLN-N lead by NAWAZ sharif has won  its majority because of  its hardline approach for the restoration of judiciary and if he backs down for the sake of government then he will loose his mandate  which people has expressed over his party.
Nawaz sharif must not back down on issue of judiciary but he must have to win the PPP on he issue  for the sake of this country. On the other hand PPP donot stress for  the restoration of judiciary, this simply means that they are accepting the unconstitutional steps taken by  Musharraf on  NOV,3,2007.If this country is to move forward the judiciary must be restored to the NOV,3 position. This is the cause of a free and independent PAKISTAN.I am sure , if this chance also went begging  then we must not hope for any good future for times to come. This is the golden opportunity for  huge step forward in the interest of this country.

During the last sixty years Pakistan has seen a turbulent and tumultuous political chaos. Irony is that we all have been blaming each other for the disorder. Sometime mudslinging on the forces and sometime the character assassination of the politicians but no one picked up the courage to own the blame for the wrong doings. The interesting thing is that amidst this all the Pakistani nation throughout maintained a very low profile and never ever came forward to own the blame for any debacle or tragedy as a nation. This nation (including me) would always come forward for the rights and benefits but when it comes to the responsibilities we all would look right and left. Our leaders never descended from heaven. We are the one who would elect them and we are the one who tolerate them. Then why to blame them for the wrong doings. We fear, we submit and we bow down.
See the recent result of the elections, what we have done? We have brought the same old horses back that we have tried again and again. This time they have come after giving the brand new assurances to the public, so the ill-fated nation would be deceived once again because they won’t be able to deliver the goods so eventually they would revert to opening some new Pandora boxes. Shouldn’t we ask them to stop the muck here? We all were making hue and cry that the President would do a mass rigging to bring the PML-Q back in power. Agreed that he was hopeful for their success but the public gave an entire unexpected verdict which he publically accepted. So, what next? Can we afford a “Jalao Ghairao”? Certainly not. Don’t you think it’s enough? Why they make fool of us? Simply because we like to be fooled. Can’t we ask them that we have brought you the assemblies and now it’s your turn to deliver the goods? Instead of straight away starting with a ‘No Cooperation with the President’ cant they bring harmony in relations? Of course they always have the option to corner him if they think that the President is not cooperating. He has announced that he is ready to work with any party. Shouldn’t we trust him? Well if we can trust our politicians every time after they deceive us then what’s the harm in giving him one chance?
My beloved country has already been letdown and we are making more and more fun of it internationally. It’s time for us to ask our representatives to stop making this fun and must think for a reconciliation if they really want to serve us the public. No one has the time to waste for the ‘Jalsa Jaloos’.
Oh! Khalil Gibran, “Pity the nation that welcomes its new ruler with trumpeting, and farewells him with hooting, only to welcome another with trumpeting again”.
